​Elections present opportunities for advancing the democratic process. They are a periodic test of the strength of representative governments. Fair and balanced reporting of the electoral process promotes critical citizen awareness, transparency and accountability.

Voice of America invites you to participate in a roundtable discussion with some of our frontline journalists that cover elections in global hotspots. Our reporters will be joined by representatives of nongovernmental organizations and academia who study democratic practices internationally.

The Voice of America is partnering with The George Washington University for a town hall meeting that will explore the challenges and opportunities facing international students in America. The panel will include some of the top educators from international programs at leading U.S. colleges and universities.
